Grace Howe (left) of Waukon has been named alternate in the Iowa Dairy Princess contest held during the Iowa State Fair in August.
The daughter of Shelly and the late Matt Howe is a senior at Waukon High School, with plans to attend Iowa State University and major in agriculture business. In 2017, she was named Iowa Jersey Princess and won the Iowa Jersey Youth Achievement Contest.
