Jersey breeders from Iowa and surrounding states regularly consign cattle to the Iowa Spring Extravaganza Sale in early spring. The event also includes the Hawkeye Pot O'Gold Sale, just for juniors.

The 2017 event was held at the Fayette County Fairgrounds in West Union on March 25. The event auctioned 20 lots for an average of $2,350. The high seller, Edgebrook Arthur Grenadine-ET, sold for $4,000 to David A. Jones, Yale, OK. She was consigned by Patty Dilly of Toledo, IA. Click here for a report.

High Seller 2014

Arethusa Action Varsity was the high seller of the 2014 sale, purchased by the syndicate of Steinridge, Peters and Metzger for $30,000. She was consigned by Greg Lambert. Orthridge Zuma Riva was the high-selling

High Seller 2012

Gallagher Excitation Molly Missy was the high seller of the 2012 sale, purchased for $2,550 by Steve Durnan. She was consigned by Carlena and Pat Gallagher.

High Seller 2011
